Room MBH 367 / Middlebury College magazine

This issue finally arrived and I'm so excited to see it in print! The article is about Tom Root, a very special biology professor at Middlebury College and his inspiring legacy. About a decade ago, he converted a tiny unused storage closet (Room MBH 367) into Middlebury's octopus lab. Through some trial an error they created an ocean-like environment in the lab and were able to successfully raise octopuses. They also quickly found out that octopuses are very intelligent and incredible escape artists. I'm really fortunate to get to work with and collaborate with ADs like Pamela Fogg.
